BINGO PROCEDURE

1. The teacher places the 58 shuffled flag cards on the table face down. He or she then selects a card and (a) shows the flag, (b) announces the territory name or (c) describes the flag.

• Alternative Procedure: The teacher puts the 58 flag cards in a box. Every student gets the chance to pick and describe the flag (before naming the country or territory).

2. Each player circles or checks the territory name on the bingo board that corresponds to the flag drawn at random.

• Kindly tell the students not to put an X or any markings on the flags.

3. The player who first completes a line with five territories in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row on his or her card wins.

• The teacher may decide on the winning pattern, such as the two-line bingo pattern where two full lines are required for a player to win. The two lines can be two horizontal lines, two vertical lines, two diagonal lines, or a combination of two different lines.
